Inspired by traditional tailor's chalk, ArtGraf Tailor Shape is a rich, water-soluble block of pigment. It is extremely soft and provides artists with a wide range of shades depending on the amount of water used, from light, transparent tones to deep, rich, opaque colours. When diluted, the Tailor's Shape acts similarly to an ink, it can also be used dry as a drawing medium by itself. It can be used as an entire block to draw or paint with or colour can be picked up from the block with a brush, similarly to how you would use traditional watercolour paint. Each block measures approx. 4.45x5.08cm

ArtGraf Nº1 is a soft graphite putty that allows the user to shape the drawing tool according to specific drawing needs. Shape it into a large ball and make big coloured areas for big drawing or shape it into a smaller tool for greater control. ArtGraf Nº1 can create a wide range of shades and colour contrast through the use of more or less material. Nº1 can be used directly from the package or mixed with water.
Three shades of black allows the leap from drawing to painting Liquid charcoal in the 35 ml tube - a clean, dust-free way of painting, charcoal drawing and underpainting with charcoal. The three pigments of natural origin used for this (PBK 8, pit black) are created by charring fruit seeds from the EU area and result in the following unique coal nuances: a neutral peach stone black - 18 757 a warm, brownish cherry pit black - 18 756 a cool, bluish grape seed black - 18 755 Due to the larger quantity of available paint, liquid charcoal can be used to quickly process large areas. The liquid charcoal contains the high-quality binder gum arabic like traditional artists' watercolours (gouaches, watercolours, etc.), has a gouache-like consistency and can be diluted with water, so that different shades, structures and layer thicknesses can be achieved by different application. Depending on the substrate and the thickness of the layer, it can be wiped off by hand and removed with water. Used as thin underpainting (e.g. in oil painting), subsequent paints do not become dirty or become less dirty than with conventional charcoal underpainting due to the higher adhesion of the bound carbon pigments to the substrate. Of course, the liquid charcoal can be combined with drawing charcoal. The blurring and removability of the liquid charcoal depends on the surface of the substrate - the more even and firm the surface, the easier to change the application. Pre-tests are recommended. Please note: Due to the fact that the pigments are natural products, there may be minimal colour variations in each batch.
The 3 liquid earths are formulated based on natural pigments mined regionally in Germany. They are a fantastic liquid addition or alternative to traditional drawing materials, such as pencils or carré sticks. Liquid chalk – 18 850 Liquid sanguine – 18 854 Liquid umber – 18 852
Graphite in tube. It was made from ground graphite and gum arabic. Graphite has a slightly cooler shade of black than liquid carbon and does not granulate as much. Water-soluble graphite allows you to produce work with an effect similar to water-based paint. The graphite particles are slightly larger than other pigments used in watercolor. When dry, the graphite is matte.
Is made of melted charcoal and arabic gum. The particles of charcoal are small and have the richest black tones, which enables to create any work just then same as with a water-based paint. As the charcoal particles are larger than other pigments used in watercolors, the effect you get is graininess. It can be effected by more rough paper used and by the amount of water added. When dry it is matt and will have varying areas of texture and granulation. As the arabic gum is a good re-soluble medium it allows to re-use Charcoal Water, similarly to watercolor paints. Main features: - perfect for both bold as well as for delicate works - suitable for artists who draw as well as for watercolourists, maybe used for drawing and painting - ideal as an extra paint for watercolour black shades, to enrich the palette of colours - huge range of tones you may create with one brush stroke, from velvet black to light grey, with blue and brown undertones - allows to create variety of texture and granulation - compared with black watercolour paint, shows difference in the pigment granulation, which is useful for special effects or for verying shades when mixed with other paints - can be water re-activated when dry - can be used wet or dry - can be applied with different brush and other paining tools as well as with fingers - can be used with any absorbent surfaces, such as watercolour papers, canvases and panels previously covered with watercolour ground. - for finished work safety it is recommended to use a fixative
This pump-spray creates granulation effects in non-granulating watercolours. Spray with the fine atomizer into the still wet watercolour areas to be treated. The pigments there will quickly flocculate. As only a few of the HORADAM® watercolour are originally granulating (marked with a "G" in the colour chart), this medium helps to create a granulation effect for all colours. For already granulating colours the effect will be intensified. Due to the fine atomizer also small areas within a painting can be treated.
