Graduate Oil Colours are traditionally crafted with a soft buttery consistency and high pigment loading. They offer excellent brushability and are easy to mix while being suitable for smooth brush applications and impasto. All colours are either Permanent 4**** or Normally Permanent 3*** and surface dry to a uniform low gloss satin sheen within four to five days. Available in a range of forty-two vibrant colours many of which are single pigment which ensures that colours are brighter and cleaner when mixed. The unique formulation of refined linseed oil and modern drying agents creates oil colours which are easy to squeeze from the tube and effortlessly mixed on the palette. The Graduate Oil Colour range has a well balanced choice of opaque and transparent colours. This is ideal for oil painters who like to experiment with the layering techniques of transparent oil colours or to create bold and expressive opaque techniques with colours such as Coeruleum, Rose Madder, Phthalo Blue or Viridian Hue. Alternatively, high lustre metallics Silver, Gold, Rich Gold or Copper mix beautifully with transparent colours. Daler Rowney Artists' Clear Picture Varnish is a removable picture varnish that produces a clear even gloss finish, which will not yellow or bloom when painted on dry oil paintings. When applied lightly by a spray diffuser it makes an excellent Retouching Varnish. Daler Rowney Artists' Clear Picture Varnish may be used on both oil & acrylic painting.

PRIMAcryl Professional is a premium artist acrylic colour that offers a modern and extensive range and was extensively revised in 2025. The superior pigmentation and the fact that 2/3 of all colours are even single-pigment colours provide a brilliance that is second to none. Another advantage: there is almost no colour change between wet and dry paint. Titanium white, known for its high pigmentation, opacity and yield, remains unsurpassed among the white colours for mixtures. Highest resistance and lightfastness of 4 and 5 stars only are another feature of this professional acrylic colour. Sustainability in focus The binder used in PRIMAcryl Professional is produced in a sustainable process: It is not extracted from mineral oil, but produced almost entirely from ‘end-of-use’ plastics (e.g. old car tyres) or plant remains. Compared to the classic ‘petroleum process’, only a minimal amount of CO2 is released. At the same time, competition with food farming is avoided by not using plant-based resources grown specifically for this purpose. PRIMAcryl is microplastic-free, and bottles and jars are made from recycled plastics. 89 colours are vegan, only ivory black (PBk 9) contains animal ingredients. Environmentally friendly cadmium alternatives (e.g. ‘cadmium yellow hue’) complement the original cadmium colours. Titanium white impresses with maximum pigmentation, opacity and coverage.
