The CL-369 Gaia by Cappelletto is a Sustainable Lyre Easel, made of oiled beech wood. Sustainability: The innovative and patented design employs attractive curves and protrusions to further enhance the stability of your canvas. Created for Sustainability, the Cappelletto CL-369 Gaia features 12% more renewable wood and 83% less chemical treatments. This goals are achieved thanks to the reduction of metal parts to a minimum. Functionality: Compared to other products in the same range, this easel features an innovative canvas-holder. It is characterized by an adjustment knob with an ergonomic and functional design, entirely made of wood. The shaped partitions and shelf bring both functional and aesthetic improvements, creating harmony of shapes and soft, elegant lines. This method allows the canvas to rest coplanar on the central and lateral rods. The artist can therefore paint with greater stability even on the external corners of the canvas. Capacity: The minimum height of the easel is 165 cm and maximum 230 cm. The canvas holder shelf is adjustable in height, from a minimum of 25 cm to a maximum of 96 cm. Thanks to the wooden rack system and the wooden spring ratchet the adjustments are even smoother. It can hold canvases up to 4.5cm thick and 130cm high. Adjustments: The inclination of the central rod is adjustable via a rear system of wing nuts. Three support points on the ground provide safety and stability. For this reason, the sustainable design lyre easel proves to be suitable for use both in indoor environments (ateliers, museums, galleries, theatres, cinemas, conference rooms, painting workshops, schools, libraries, hotels, restaurants, bars, exhibition stands ), and external (squares, terraces, gardens, parks). Use: The CL-369 Gaia is an optimal support for paintings, canvases, posters, brochures, books, catalogues, menus, blackboards, artisanal and artistic artefacts. The CL-369 Gaia easel proves to be an indispensable work tool for the professional. When not in use, it can be folded back on itself with a single easy movement, until it takes up minimal “space-saving” space. Accessories: The easel is designed for the application of the Cappelletto optional accessories, for further storage space (easel trays ET-1 and ET-2) or to provide a handy container (CA-4 and CA-6 portable colour boxes) to be applied by a simple connection system without screws.
